Finally an electric trainer that offers nothing but advantages! Like all electrics, the ElectriStar Select is clean, quiet and economical to operate. But unlike other electric trainers, the ElectriStar Select flies just like a .40-sized glow-powered trainer! The ElectriStar Select was engineered from the ground up as an electric, so unneeded weight could be removed from the airframe without compromising structural integrity. It's stable, strong – and with a wingspan of more than five feet, it's easy to see in the air.

  • With the computer radio and brushless motor already installed, final assembly takes less than an hour!
  • The two-piece wing slides onto a strong aluminum joiner tube, to speed assembly.
  • A bolt-on tail makes the ElectriStar Select quick to assemble, yet is easy to remove and replace if required.

The all-wood ElectriStar Select features a beautiful and durable MonoKote trim scheme that can be easily repaired if needed. Most assembly is already complete, so you can have it ready to fly in less than an hour!
wing joiner tube
The two-piece wing simplifies model transport by being easy to remove and reattach at the flying field. The wing separates into two panels, which slide together onto a strong aluminum joiner tube.

The wing attaches easily to the fuselage with 10-12 rubber bands. In the event of a less-than-perfect landing, this allows the wing to separate from the fuselage, minimizing damage.
battery hatch
The battery hatch is located on the bottom of the fuselage, providing easy access for quick and easy battery pack changes.
radio compartment
The spacious radio compartment offers plenty of room for factory-installed Futaba radio components. With the wing off, the servos, receiver and receiver battery are easily accessible.
tail assembly
The bolt-on tail makes the ElectriStar Select quick to assemble, and is easy to remove and replace if required.
